Catchin' Up

Last week was our busiest yet this summer. Jordan had acting camp with her friends Bridgett and Kriti. They really enjoyed learning their lines and putting together costumes. The performance on Friday was fantastic. Jordan was the only one to do Tuesday homework - look up an additional monologue. As a result, she was the only one to perform two monologues. She definitely has the acting bug (or should I say performing bug?!). Madison and I shopped while Jordan was at camp. Maddie wanted to spend some of her allowance at the [Target] "One Spot". She found a compact mirror, cell-phone calculator, a Pirate's of the Carribean Journal for Jordan, and a small suitcase filled with art supplies. She hit the jackpot!! Gotta love Target.

Today was Maddie's last day to play with her friend, Jake. He is visiting his grandparents across the street. They will be moving in a couple of weeks and Jake's mom was helping with the last bit of purging. I took a picture of Jake and Maddie for today's picture in my "August Photo a Day" log. Pete and the girls are out right now seeing the movie Underdog. I opted to stay home to Photoshop quite a few pictures that I haven't printed because they need work. I can't scrap them if they are still on the computer!! Not to mention the studio has been a mess, but I cleaned it up this morning. Now there is plenty of room to scrap and stamp, but I still need the pictures. Better to get that done now!!
